Connecticut
📍 Woodstock and via from Rhode Island to Massachusetts

I’ve been to Connecticut twice. The first time was on a road trip through New England with my family the summer after I finished my first year of grad school. We were on our way from Rhode Island to the Berkshires. We drove through the full length of Connecticut so saw a lot of the state. We stopped near Woodstock though for lunch.

I have an aunt and cousins I love very much who live on the East Coast. In 2023 one of my cousins was in her final year of grad school at Columbia. My aunt and other cousin, her sister, decided to spend a weekend in New York visiting her. We had so much fun that weekend bopping around the city together we vowed to try to do something like it at least every other year. In the fall of 2025 we made good on that promise and spent a weekend in Connecticut. Mostly Mystic. Again, we had the best time and I have it’s such a cute area. Highly recommend.
