My mom was raised on the East Coast so every summer growing up my family and I used to go visit. Usually around the 4th of July. A few times we mixed things up and went on a trip together instead. That’s what happened with Delaware. For two years in a row we took our summer vacation with one of my aunts, uncles and cousins in Rehoboth Beach. I have such good memories from those trips! Long days out in the sun playing at the beach, evenings spent at dinner then back at the hotel together playing some more. Core memories for sure.
