I first found myself in Colorado while walking around the circle that is the Four Corners monument. So needless to say, that was not a very long visit lol. More on how I ended up there here.

My second visit to the state was much more normal. Longer, too. I was on a road trip home from New Mexico so drove through a lot of the eastern part of the state. Also stopped to stay over in Denver and explore the city. I couldn’t get over the mountains. One of my besties moved to Denver a couple years ago with her family. It’s where her husband is from. We’ve been trying to meet for a trip once a year to stay connected. So who knows, maybe I’ll find myself back there one day soon.
