I’m Lianne – or as my friends and family call me, Li.

I’m a working, co-parenting mom and one of those people who’s always loved to travel. Exploring has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and my parents often tell stories of how, growing up, I dreamt of Paris, planned a life in Japan and swore I’d set foot in every country in the world.

Somewhere along the way, I tucked those dreams and plans away for a more traditional life. But a few years ago, when that life came crashing down, I looked around and asked myself: How did I get so far from what I’d always wanted?

That question led me back to the girl I used to be.

This site is my love letter to her and a glimpse into what it looks like to rebuild a beautiful life, one promise and trip at a time. Inside, you’ll find a little bit of everything gathered along the way: destination highlights, travel tips, personal stories & reflections. Plus, the lessons I’ve learned from moving through the world with both a carry-on and a healing heart so you can hopefully save some time.
