Where to even begin? Colombia has my heart!!! 🥹

Or maybe I should say Cartagena? Although I suspect the love would be country wide... I visited Cartagena de Indias, or Cartagena for short, over a long weekend in January 2025. I fell in love after taking about 3 steps outside the airport lol, and never looked back.

I can talk a lot at baseline, but if you really wanna hear me yap then ask me about Cartagena lol. There’s something about the energy of the place — the color, the music, the food, the ocean, the warmth, the history pulsing through the cobblestone streets. It’s vibrant and alive in a way that feels contagious. Magical even. I felt at home and completely enchanted all at once. It’s a place I firmly believe everyone should experience at least once. I would go back in a heartbeat and know it’s a place I’ll visit over and over again.

I hope to explore more of Colombia, too. Medellín and Bogotá especially!
