I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Lianne – or as my friends and family call me, Li.

I’m a working mom and one of those people who’s always loved to travel. Exploring has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and my parents often tell stories of how, growing up, I dreamt of Paris, planned a life in Japan and swore I’d set foot in every country in the world.

Somewhere along the way, I tucked those dreams and plans away for a more traditional life. And for a while, it worked. But a few years ago that life came crashing down and once I made it through the storm, I looked around and asked myself: How did I get so far from what I’d always wanted?

That question led me back to the girl I used to be. This site is my love letter to her.

Inside, you’ll find a blend of destination highlights, travel insights and inspiration and all the magical moments + lessons gathered along the way.
