Some places are just special and New Zealand is one of them.

I think the best way to describe it is an idyllic adventure.

I spent 3 weeks down under in 2017 to celebrate my 30th birthday. My time was focused on the north island and I had so many incredible experiences. Exploring cities and towns, climbing a mountain, soaking in natural hot springs, learning the lingo, seeing kiwis, kayaking, beach hopping, building my own little “hot tub” on hot water beach. The list goes on. Even what should have been an unpleasant experience — having our rental car break down — turned into a memorable adventure because New Zealanders are so freaking friendly and the tow truck driver who came to pick us up drove us back to Auckland and gave us little tours along the way!

I would love to go back to explore the south island one day. Maybe hop over to some islands in the South Pacific after, too. I’ve heard that’s fun and a good way to do it. We shall seeeee🤞🤞🤞
