I visited Roatan, Honduras as part of a cruise around the western Caribbean with my parents and brother for Christmas the year I finished my post-grad training. I was engaged and it was to be the last year just the 4 of us in our immediate family. I remember it as a beautiful place with very pretty water. Warm like a bath and that perfect shade of Caribbean blue. There were so many flowers, too! Bougainvillea everywhere. There were a lot of offers to go diving, but I didn’t know how to dive at the time. I still don’t lol. So, I went snorkeling instead. It was nice, and the diving seemed better. If ever I go back to Roatan, I’d love to learn or know how to dive.
