I visited Belize as part of a cruise around the Western Caribbean with my immediate family for Christmas in 2014. We docked in Harvest Caye and spent some time there. We also elected to go to Placencia to explore a little more. While in Placencia we took a tour of the mangroves. I don’t remember how or why we did that to be quite honest lol, but it was interesting and pretty nonetheless.
